Most of my work is for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and phone calls but do not want a big system. I look at how the work actually happens and build a tool around it: jobs, quotes, visits, stock, whatever the day is made of.

I keep things small on purpose. A first version that does one thing well, used for real for a while, then the next thing. It is cheaper, it ships sooner, and it fits better.

You deal with me directly. Plain words, a fixed scope, and software that runs on a single server with no licence per seat.

In my own time I build things I want to exist: a travel guide with a trip planner, a budgeting app for two.
